We’re happy you’re considering joining our SaTi Facilitation team — or are already part of it 🙂!
For many in the community, whether they come to Sangha Time regularly, occasionally, or for the first time, the opportunity to sit with others and connect in community is deeply meaningful. It’s a judgement free space, where we can pause and remember what really matters to us - whatever may be going on in our lives.
In a SaTi Facilitation role, you are co-holding that space for us all - and stepping into a cycle of generosity yourself.
As facilitators, you also represent the community to the outside world and to first-timers who come in search of a sangha. For many of them, SaTi is the first touch point with the community.
Holding this space is a joyful responsibility: it's excellent practice in remembering and modeling our Community Values & how we want to show up and treat each other - including things like commitment and responsibility. It's also a great way to build facilitation and wise speech skills you can carry into your relationships, communities, and the world beyond CV.
Also: Our SaTi Facilitators are an awesome bunch of people! So if you haven’t yet - we hope you’ll join the team 🙂.
Below, you’ll find a short description of what’s involved in the roles of Co-facilitator and Facilitator at Sangha Time. We hope it’s a useful orientation.

As a Co-facilitator, you lead the introductory part of our sit, tell new people about what Community Village is and share announcements & celebrations. No need to think any of this up by yourself - a run down with all the info you need is provided to you by the leadership team in advance.
(very similar to Co-facilitator role. differences are highlighted in blue)
*As a Facilitator, you welcome people and lead them into the meditation. You also introduce the wisdom read and lead everyone in sharing & discussion time. No need to think any of the up by yourself - A run down with all the info you need is provided to you by the Leadership Crew in advance.
